We appreciated our stay in the Sphinx hotel last autumn. It was rather cheap with the cozy and modern room. The stuff were very polite and eager to help, that was very nice! We spent much time observing the city center, besides, the hotel's location was superb – close to the most interesting Amsterdam sights, landmarks. Sphinx hotel is a 2 star lodging, be the way.

It's a poor one, unfortunately( It's advertised a lot, but not so much corresponding to what is described. All in all, it's ok, clean enough and cozy, but comfort deserves better. Keep in mind also that the bathroom is outside the room, and one for some rooms. I'm not sure about luxe categories, as we stayed in a double room.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sphinx hotel in Amsterdam very much. The rooms were clean and the location is not far from the center of the city. The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel is not expensive, so what can be better?! Enjoy the city and have a good time!

As for me, Sphinx Hotel was fine and comfortable. It was not expensive, so I appreciated good value for money. I liked double room where I stayed with my friend, very cute and clean. Hotel team was very friendly during our stay, that we really enjoyed.

Sphinx Hotel has a wonderful location even in the centre of Amsterdam. There is a quick approach to the airport, that was very convenient. My room was equipped with DVD and TV that I liked so much. I should note hospitable staff that helped with any question.
