The Memphis is in a great district, with lots of parks and museums nearby. The transportation is good and takes you right to the center. Also we visited a good Italian restaurant within few steps.
The hotel itself is clean and comfort. There is WiFi on the whole territory.
The staff helped on everything.
Maybe only some rooms are not so modern, but great service substitutes it.

We really liked it. It was like at home. Both the outside view - green curtain all over the facade, and the room are great. Thanks for a great care!
By the way, it's cool to have a fridge in the room, although the hotel own dining is delicious.
Location is a plus too, so close to all the sights: Van Gogh museum, Vondelpark, Shopping Centre, much more.
Wish, we'd visit it soon again!

I’ve stayed at Memphis Hotel on the 5th and 6th July. I and my family found the hotel staff very pleased and helpful. They advised us where to have a tasty and not very expensive dinner, how to get to the city center and the main sightseeings. We would certainly stay here again with great pleasure!

I with my 2 small children stayed at Memphis Hotel in the middle of August and we found our stay very successful. The staff was very very polite and helpful. The breakfast suited also my children (as they are very fastidious). The room was comfortable and full of useful devices. We could easily get to the Dam square as the tram station was just at the corner of our hotel. I would book this hotel once more and will recommend it to my hubby for his business trips to Amsterdam.

When I was looking for a nice hotel in Amsterdam on the Web, I paid attention to Memphis Hotel. It attracted me with the ideal location in the cultural part of Amsterdam. Nearby were not only fashionable shops, but also plenty of famous museums such as Van Goghmuseum. The accommodation was superb- there was free W-Fi Internet, air-conditiong and other modern facilities.
